At London Waterbus, we actively support local communities and charities by offering complimentary trips each quarter throughout the year.
We often receive a large number of requests for complimentary tickets and, while we are unable to accommodate every application, we strive to review all requests fairly and consistently.
You can apply for one of the following:
- Up to 20 tickets
- One 2-hour private hire trip (up to 40 guests)
Please note that the above represents our total quarterly allocation, which will be distributed among successful applicants.
Desirable criteria (although not mandatory) that we consider when reviewing charity and community applications include:
- Being based in London or having a strong connection to the city.
- Supporting individuals or groups who would not normally have access to paid boat trips.
- Promoting the canals, wildlife, local communities, or other positive social causes.
OUR ROLLING BLOCK DEADLINES ARE AS FOLLOWS
- For trips in Quarter 1: December 20th @ 5pm
- For trips in Quarter 2: March 20th @ 5pm
- For trips in Quarter 3: June 20th @ 5pm
- For trips in Quarter 4: September 20th @ 5pm
For example, if you wish to book a trip in February, your application would fall under Quarter 1, meaning the deadline would be December 20th.
Please note that we are unlikely to offer trips or tickets during weekends or peak periods. Tickets must not be resold for profit; any tickets found to have been resold will be invalidated.
